Open University Geological Society

Welcome to the OUGS
Central Website

OUGS Events

All OUGS events are open to all OUGS members and are advertised initially in the events list below and then in the events diary in subsequent OUGS newsletters. Bookings, with deposit, are not confirmed for any residential trip until at least a month after the first appearance of the event in the OUGS newsletter events diary, and then in order of deposits received.

For longer trips which are likely to be popular, it is advisable to register your interest with the contact person when a trip is first advertised so that a booking form can be sent when full details are arranged.

Non-members are also welcome to attend events, but there will usually be a small additional charge to cover insurance and members will be given priority if places are short.
