Summary:The walk take us to the lower part of Cliff Rigg Quarry to look at the course of and the workings of the Cleveland Dyke. We will then walk to the summit of Roseberry Topping looking at the Lower and Middle Jurassic sedimentary sequence along the way and how this area has been worked for minerals/stone over time. We will return along the Cleveland Way looking at how the late quaternary glaciation has formed this landscape.
