The Branch covers South Wales, including Pembrokeshire, Glamorgan, Powys and parts of Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcester and Avon.

We run field trips throughout the spring and autumn both within our Branch and overseas.  In recent years we have been to Tenerife, the Azores, Skye, Newfoundland, Southern Spain, Brittany, the United Arab Emirates, the Alps and Norway.  During the winter we organise a day of lectures.  All members of the society are welcome to join our trips.  Our longer trips are renowned for keeping the costs down without the loss of comfort.

We also have a large library and issue a regular Newsletter which includes accounts of the field trips and keeps members up to date with the Events diary.

Please explore our site in detail.  If you wish to contact us the branch organiser is available via email on  severnside@ougs.org
